European French Oak - Old Vineyard 7 1/2" x 1/2" Prefinished

European French Oak - Old Vineyard is a 7 1/2" wide x 1/2" thick engineered floor milled from live-sawn white oak in European forests, precision-milled with German technology. It carries a 3mm wear layer and majority 75" long lengths, and comes prefinished with a wirebrushed texture, ready to install.

Old Vineyard lands in the middle of the family's color range — a warm taupe-brown, more worn saddle leather than either the cool greys or the deep ambers on either side of it. The grain moves in long, lazy waves instead of tight cathedral arches, broken by a scatter of small knots and one faint mineral streak crossing a plank like a stroke of charcoal. Board to board the color drifts in a narrow range, warmer in one spot, cooler a foot over, which keeps a large room from reading flat or printed. It carries the settled, slightly weathered look of a floor that's already been lived on for years. This one works as a background floor, playing well with almost any wall color or cabinet finish without pulling focus.
