What we recommend first
The Bona Sealer & Finish System
Bona Traffic HD is the headliner — a commercial-grade waterborne finish that stands up to kids, dogs and daily traffic without the ambering or the fumes of an oil-based coat. Paired with the right Bona sealer, it is the system we put on most of the floors we touch.
- Sealers: NordicSeal, NaturalSeal, ClassicSeal, IntenseSeal, AmberSeal
- Finishes: Traffic HD, Mega ONE, Domo
- Low odor and low VOC — back on your floors sooner
Bona Mega & Bona Domo
Other waterborne options in the same family. A good fit when Traffic HD is more finish than the floor needs.
Oil-Based Polyurethane
The traditional choice. Ambers over time, longer cure, stronger odor — still the right call on some floors. We will tell you when it is.
Hardwax Oils
Rubio Monocoat, Pallmann Magic Oil and Bona Craft Oil. A natural matte look that is spot-repairable. Available on request.
