Our screen-and-recoat service uses a commercial power scrubber — forward-and-reverse operation, a 16-inch rotating path at 1,100 RPM — for a deep clean that leaves small and congested spaces clean, dry, and ready to use the same day. We've also used the same equipment to restore black-and-white porcelain tile in a home whose renovation was featured on TV multiple times.
For engineered floors that have gone hazy or cloudy from years of the wrong cleaning products, we've saved customers thousands by restoring rather than replacing. One Ball Ground homeowner's engineered floors were left coated in glue and old urethane residue by a previous installer — our crew stripped the residue with specialized chemicals and refinished with two coats of Bona Traffic HD, giving the floor roughly double the life expectancy of what was there before.

What's the difference between a screen-and-recoat and a full refinish?
A screen-and-recoat lightly abrades the existing finish and applies a fresh topcoat without sanding to bare wood — it's faster, less expensive, and often done in a single day. A full refinish sands the floor down to bare wood and is needed when the finish has worn through, there's staining, or you're changing the color.
Can you clean engineered hardwood floors that have gone hazy or cloudy?

Do you clean tile and stone in addition to hardwood?
