European French Oak - Unfinished Micro Bevel 7 1/2" x 1/2"

European French Oak - Unfinished Micro Bevel is a 7 1/2" wide x 1/2" thick engineered floor milled from live-sawn white oak in European forests, precision-milled with German technology. It carries a 3mm wear layer and majority 75" long lengths, and ships unfinished with a micro-beveled edge so it can be custom-stained and finished on site.

This one comes to the jobsite the way the tree left it — raw, pale, and honestly a little inconsistent, which is the whole point if you're planning to stain it yourself. The color out of the box runs a cooler oatmeal beige than our prefinished boards, and the grain carries more open character: knots cluster more heavily on some boards than others, with gray mineral streaks threading through a few lengths. None of that is a flaw; unfinished stock always shows its personality before a finish evens it out. The micro-beveled edge leaves a soft, barely-there seam once it's installed rather than a deep shadow groove. We tell customers to test their stain on an offcut first, because this raw canvas drinks color differently than what they picture in their head.
