European French Oak - Nevada 7 1/2" x 5/8" Prefinished

European French Oak - Nevada is a 7 1/2" wide x 5/8" thick engineered floor milled from live-sawn white oak in European forests, precision-milled with German technology. It carries a 4mm wear layer and majority 75" long lengths, and comes prefinished with a wirebrushed texture, ready to install.

Nevada sits on the cool end of the family: a soft ash-grey with just enough tan underneath to keep it from reading blue or flat. In direct light the brushed ridges catch a slight sheen and throw thin shadow lines down each board, which is what gives the surface its texture rather than any high-gloss coating. The grain is subdued: mostly straight, tight lines with a single soft knot drifting through one plank and barely any mineral streaking elsewhere. Next to a warmer oak, this one photographs almost silvery, especially near a window. It's the choice for someone doing a modern farmhouse or coastal-leaning room where warm honey tones would clash with cooler cabinetry, tile, or stone. Understated is the right word for it; nothing here is trying to be the star of the room.
