European French Oak - Montana 7 1/2" x 5/8" Prefinished

European French Oak - Montana is a 7 1/2" wide x 5/8" thick engineered floor milled from live-sawn white oak in European forests, precision-milled with German technology. It carries a 4mm wear layer and majority 75" long lengths, and comes prefinished with a wirebrushed texture, ready to install.

Montana leans warm — a honeyed amber-brown that picks up gold when the sun crosses it in the afternoon. The grain runs bolder here than in its cousins, arching into full cathedral patterns with a dark knot punching through one plank like a thumbprint the tree left behind. Compared to a flatter, greyer oak, this one has more shine to it and more contrast between the light early-wood and the darker late-wood streaks, so the floor reads busier and richer rather than calm. Run your palm over it and you still feel the brushed texture, but the color does the talking here. It suits a room built around warm woods — leather, walnut furniture, brass — rather than a cool, minimalist palette. Character marks show up plank after plank; no two boards land the same.
