European French Oak - Natural 7 1/2" x 1/2" Prefinished

European French Oak - Natural is a 7 1/2" wide x 1/2" thick engineered floor milled from live-sawn white oak in European forests, precision-milled with German technology. It carries a 3mm wear layer and majority 75" long lengths, and comes prefinished with a wirebrushed texture, ready to install.

Natural shows the most movement of anything in this lineup: pale blonde oak with grain that swings from tight straight lines to wide cathedral arches inside a single board. There's a run of mineral streaking low on one plank, grey-brown veining that looks almost like a scorch mark, and a cluster of pin knots gathered near the top edge where a branch used to be. Nothing here is trying to hide the tree it came from. The background color stays light and warm, closer to raw wood than to any stain, so the character marks read dark and deliberate against it rather than blending in. Laid across a big room, boards vary noticeably plank to plank, which is natural wood movement, not a flaw. Anyone chasing a uniform, matchy look should keep looking.
