The Project: From Dull to Dazzling with Rustic White Oak
We started by removing an outdated engineered hardwood floor that had lost its shine and charm. In its place, we installed solid No. 2 grade white oak, a rustic grade full of character with mineral streaks, knots, and pinholes. This style adds a warm and natural aesthetic that makes any space feel inviting and unique.
To complement the existing red oak stair treads, the customer selected the classic Early American stain, which ties the design together beautifully. For durability and long-lasting appeal, we finished the floors with premium oil-based polyurethane.
